Scalamandré presents the Pacifica Collection, a diverse assortment of fabric, wallcovering and trimming inspired by textile traditions of Indonesia and Japan. Dynamic interpretations of vintage kimono patterns and traditional batik become multi-hued prints, fine sheers, and luxurious velvets. A coordinating selection of cords, embroideries, and velvet tapes act as chic accents to the fabric offering, or can be statements on their own. REINA SHEER Reina Sheer is a clipped, or fil coupe, single-width sheer. A large-scale ogee frames a bold chevron pattern, softened by the subtle fringe of clipped threads and alternating lines of transparency. Quite a statement sheer with sophistication and elegance.

SEA OF TREES PRINT Adapted from an archival document, Sea of Trees Print is a large-scale scenic pattern printed on a textural cotton blend ground. Each dynamic palette of this colorful statement print is composed of over a dozen unique hues, making it easy to layer with coordinating patterns and solids for a memorable effect.
PRISMA VELVET Prisma Velvet features dimensional lines of cut velvet crossing diagonally over graphic strokes of loop pile. Fifteen different yarns create the kaleidoscopic pinstripe effect in each colorway. This unique layout, inspired by the woven details in the lining of a vintage kimono, offers a contemporary look. ANISSA PRINT Anissa Print derives from an Indienne-style archive document. This is a style of textiles combining Eastern craftsmanship and a Western aesthetic produced between the seventeenth and early nineteenth centuries. This graceful print offers stylized boughs, birds and blossoms between decorative borders, a detail kept from the original document. Digitally printed on a lightweight, cotton blend ground, this elegant drapery fabric coordinates with the colorways of Farrah Print, Citra Block Print Tape and Tulsi Block Print Tape. HANA EMBROIDERY A bouquet of bell-shaped blossoms create an elegant layout in Hana Embroidery. Fine rayon satin stitches offer light sheen against the matte linen and cotton blend ground. A subtle ombré of color within the motif adds depth to this feminine pattern, and an extra layer of dimension.

SATOMI HAND BLOCK PRINT Seven carved blocks are printed by hand to create the fine linework and shading of this delicate chinoiserie scene. Every yard of Satomi Hand Block Print will be slightly different due to this labor-intensive process. OBI CORD Inspired by a cord from the Scalamandré archive and named for the detailed sash in a traditional kimono, Obi Cord is an over-sized, multi-color cord with lip. Available in a wide range of palettes, this versatile cord makes a chic accent anywhere.
SORA SHEER A textural mix of linen and lurex, Sora Sheer is an easy-to-use, single-width curtain fabric that can be layered or used on its own for a subtle metallic effect. Sora Sheer is a leno weave, or a weave structure where the warp yarns are twisted around a weft yarn, creating stability and transparency. Available in fresh, airy hues. Drapery: HANA EMBROIDERY and SORA SHEER.
Soft Vintage Story
SAYURI EMBROIDERED TAPE Multi-colored lines of embroidery are clipped to create the playful fringe of Sayuri Embroidered Tape. This tape’s chevron layout and subtle ombré make a statement on either a headboard or sofa border.
HAIKU WEAVE Haiku Weave is a tactile boucle woven with a dry hand and subtle mélange effect. This cotton-blend texture is the perfect backdrop for statement patterns, and is available in timeless neutrals. Ottoman Upholstery: HAIKU WEAVE with SAYURI EMBROIDERED TAPE and BOULEVARD CORD. CITRA BLOCK PRINT TAPE The delicate motifs of Citra Block Print Tape were taken from the borders of the fabric, Anissa Print. Artisans hand-carved custom wooden blocks that are used to hand-print the pattern on an ivory cotton ground. The colorways of this fresh-faced, Indienne-style tape coordinate with Anissa Print, Farrah Print and Tulsi Block Print Tape.

Misty Coral Story
FARRAH PRINT This rhythmic ogee pattern is an updated interpretation of the ceplok family of Indonesian batik motifs, characterized by repeating geometric elements. Digitally printed on a durable blend of linen, cotton and nylon, this fabric makes chic upholstered slipper chairs or guest room drapes. Farrah Print is available in colorways coordinating with Anissa Print, Citra Block Print Tape and Tulsi Block Print Tape.
