Palatial Jaipur - Panel is a modern perspective-drawing mural with layered color and aging that marks an Indian-inspired follow-up to our venerable ottoman-inspired Topkapi Garden panel mural that designers love and have used in so many ways! Inspired by the palaces of Jaipur, the Pink City, known for its terracotta pink hues over the rooftops, and the opulence of Rajasthani royal palaces, the Palatial Jaipur Single Panel is a fantasy of Rajisthan and has ornately carved and painted archways, with layers upon layers of painted archs that seem to fold into each other as one looks down the halls of this fantasy Palace at the intricate paintings and carvings, one more beautiful and poetic than the next.

Palatial Jaipur uses perspective drawing techniques to depict spatial depth, or perspective, allowing one to accurately portray a three dimensional object onto a two dimensional plane. The archways in the Mural fold deeper and deeper representing space in which the scale diminishes as the distance from the viewer increases. Essentially, objects that are farther away from us appear smaller than those that are near. The position at which they meet at a horizon line is not quite a vanishing point, but feels as if exists down a long hallway. When designers put each panel side by side, the perspective lines will play with the viewer's eyes creating larger and interesting space in every direction.
