Alhambra
Proud of their landscape, Alhambra pays tribute to the beautifully diverse aesthetics found within the regions of Spain through the creation of the Altea collection. This assortment of double-width textiles pulls inspiration from coastal destinations with pebbled streets that gently descend to the sea, all the way to vivacious and unique cities built within lush forests! Subtle stripes made with a natural aesthetic and offered in soft colorways mix with solid linens. Delight in all that the Altea collection offers...
SCROLL TO DISCOVER
Drapery: NEGRET. Day Bed Cover: Polop. Throw Pillows: NICOS, LEVANTE, Polop, ALGAR and BERNIA.
NEGRET Negret rhythmically alternates thin and thick stripes, in groups of four combining two shades. It reminds us of a rustic fabric that has been refined and refreshed. The Cap Negret beach, with small pebbles and crystal-clear waters, gives its name to this everlasting fabric. A double-width taffeta, Negret is intended to dress windows and bed linens in rooms of the most varied styles.
POLOP The ascent to the Polop Castle in the Marina Baja region takes us into a long history of conquests and reconquests. Polop is a cotton-linen blend with wide stripes that emulate this ascent. The stripes, which are over 4.75 inches wide, are accompanied on either side by two thinner stripes, creating a particular harmony. A timeless classic, reinterpreted on Spanish looms.
LEVANTE This fresh, delicate and discreet thousand stripe fabric takes its name from the Levante wind that rises from the Mediterranean Sea. Its two shades are unified by alternating thin lines, creating a charming faux-smooth sensation. Double width and created with two intentions; to be the perfect bedroom fabric and to subtly shade light in any space.
Alhambra - Altea
Charcoal Story
Canopy: LEVANTE. Day Bed Cover: RODA.
BERNIA The Sierra Bernia, a mountain range and natural border between the Marina Alta and Marina Baja, gives its name to this striped two-tone fabric. With a simple rhythm, it is impossible to tire of this simple, yet delightful motif. Double width and woven in linen and recycled cotton, Bernia consists of traditional, rustic looking stripes that will give a fresh, casual style to your home décor.
ALGAR This fabric is named after the Algar River, which comes to an end in the city of Altea. On its route from the nearby Sierra de Ferrer, it stops at the well-known Fuentes del Algar. Beautiful threads of water in everlasting strands fall down the steep rocks, thus inspiring the fine white stripes within this sheer, each one a mere two inches from the next. This double-width woven becomes fundamental to filter and regulate the light coming in through your windows. Drapery: ALGAR. Tablecloth: NICOS.
Bench Cushion: Roda. Pillows: LEVANTE, CANDELA, and ALGAR.
Roda The three-colored stripes are named after Roda, the most central and popular beach in Altea, Spain and are undoubtably inspired by the long promenade that surrounds it, lined with palm trees. A design of contrasting stripes outlined with color, Roda is a fabric that reminds us of the traditional costumes from the region. Canopy: LEVANTE. Center Pillow: CANDELA. Day Bed Cover: RODA.
NICOS The rough effect of the cliffs in Ikaria are translated and reflected on this 100% linen, wrinkled, soft sheer. The color accompanies this stone-like effect where greys and taupes are the main characters. A natural, multi-colored palette with more contrasting tones provides softness and contrast to any room. Lumbar Pillow: RODA. Chair Upholstery: NICOS. Drapery: POLOP.
Chambray Story
BOLONIA Bolonia is the largest unspoiled beach located in the south of Spain and has inspired this fabric. Made of 100% linen, this double width fabric is woven in Jacquard, and repeats its small geometric motif in the form of a Roman tesserae, true to the ruins left by this civilization on the beach. Bolonia is a reversible design that is ideal for dressing up beds or creating any decor with a relaxed spirit.
Throw Pillows: Bolonia. Headboard: Barbate.
Barbate Barbate is rustic and seafaring, featuring the handcrafted simplicity found in the humble weavings of a seafaring village. This linen resembles sackcloth, decorated with vertical, jacquard stripes in relief, and stitched with contrasting wool threads. Barbate has a timeless aesthetic and an attractive taste of yesteryear.
Hemp and Hide Story
Estoril Estoril is a striped fabric representing the environment of coastal retreat preferred by the great bourgeoisie of Lisbon. A cloth with a rustic look and a relaxing combination of colors. This double-width fabric with 30,000 cycles is made of cotton, viscose, linen and wool fused together, creating interest and depth in each of the patterns of the stripes. Estoril delights us with radiant colors, contrasts, and detail.
Pumpkin Sky Story
Tarifa Tarifa reminds us of sand moved by the wind. A weave with stripes joined by stitches that grow and move forward like the dunes of this windswept beach on the Strait. A charismatic, double width fabric made of 100% linen, reminiscent of crochet work.
Sade The Sade lace-curtain fabric combines the movement from its extreme lightness with the subtle color of an open and filmy weave. A diverse color offering means a clear focus on controlling the light in any project, both in its more neutral version and in places where more color is needed. With a 122 inche width and an ultra-light visual effect, Sade becomes a basic fabric for all times, offering the perfect combination of neutrality and versatility.
Sun and Deep Blue Story
Da Vila Da Vila is a lace-curtain fabric with buttonhole stitches embroidered in relief, inspired by the monumental doors which lead to the “Palacio da Pena,” of manueline style. These orderly reliefs give a surprising consistency and drape to the fabric, and are simple and unique at the same time. Da Vila fills any room with sophisticated, Bohemian style.
Faros Faros is durable, soft and pleasing, with a carded wool effect that represents the warmth of yesteryear. An upholstery texture reinforced with a fantasy pleated thread gives this fabric a great personality! Faros is the only non-double width textile from this collection.
SALVIA Salvia is an homage to the fabrics which formed part of the everyday life of the island. The cloths used at first for mattresses are now turned into a striped, lace-curtain fabric, made of 100% pure linen. The herringbone stripes, with body, are Jacquard woven on natural spinning. Salvia has 6 ranges and a 3-yard width, is a railroaded woven, and specially designed for drapery.
