Scalamandré
The Metropolitan Museum of Art
This captivating collection, created in collaboration with The Met, draws on archival heirlooms across The Met’s 17 curatorial departments to create a rich mosaic of historical narratives. Each design is a celebration of artisanship, inspired by exquisite forms and cultural traditions. Following our first collaboration with The Met in the 1970s, we bring museum magic into the home once again in homage to history and the grand beauty of art.
Silk Wallcovering
Silk was initially reserved for Chinese royalty, and for nearly 3,000 years, the Chinese held a global monopoly on silk production, guarding its secrets from the rest of the world. The demand for this exotic luxury fabric gave rise to the lucrative trade route known as the Silk Road, facilitating the westward transportation of silk and the exchange of gold, silver, and wool to the East. Centuries later, the Scalamandré Silk Wallcovering Collection empowers the interior design community to enhance any space with the quintessential symbols of luxury and elegance.
Aldeco
Avantgarde - Indoor/Outdoor
Inspired by the “Avant-garde Movement” this indoor/outdoor collection is comprised of fabric that has meaning and comfort expressed aesthetically through bold color and expressive motifs. This collection is a manifestation of a non-conformist lifestyle and stimulates what human beings crave: a raw expression of beauty and sustainability.
Authenticity
In a restless pursuit to discover inventive ways to move forward and discover new horizons, the essential and authentic take center stage. The Authenticity collection aims to recreate narratives of the past in positive modern tales with fabric that entails rich embroideries and exquisite jacquards. Each fabric reflects the perfect symbiosis of technology at the service of ecology.
Future Healing
A turning point in the creativity and innovation of natural fabrics, future healing is a collection for the soul. Driven by that DREAM for a better planet, this collection was fueled by the creation of fabric that is intended to bring comfort and positivity. Embracing the journey for a future healing, beautiful, soft, and resistant fabrics have been reshaped and brought to life by rescued waste to improve longevity and reduce water waste.
Sandberg
Le Village
Le Village pays homage to the Béarn village Montfort and its petit stone château, home to the talented interior designer, writer, and photographer Sara Silm. The collection also celebrates the connection between the Swedish royal family, the region, and Sandberg as a purveyor to the royal court. It's here that today's King Carl XVI Gustaf's origins can be traced to Jean Bernadotte, who was born in the region's capital city Pau.
Bella Figura
Vega
This collection is about space and astronomy, but it is about more than just stars and planets; it is a scrapbook of human discovery; the early ideas of space that bewitched our ancestors with its greatness through to the discoveries allowed by modern day technological advances. The same view of the heavens has been observed by human eyes for centuries gone by and although we now understand more, the quietening vastness of space has an unchanged spellbinding power. Vega is a celebration of all that surrounds us and its hypnotic effect. The collection’s creation desires the same impact- bringing this concept indoors and enveloping you in tranquillity and quiet with timeless looks that do not answer to fashion.
Reflect - Mirrors
Mirrors are hypnotic, elegant, and mysterious, fascinating humankind since time immemorial. They retain their ability to hold our attention, much like a beautiful chandelier or a delicate piece of glass. Mirrors also perform an extraordinary feat with their ability to create new dimensions and the illusion of space. As an obvious progression for Bella Figura, they decided to take some of their most sought-after products and create reflective counterparts, bringing you Bella Figura’s first collection of unique mirrors.
Moonlight
The undeniable romance of the moonlight is the seed from which this collection grew. The light of the Moon carries an ethereal beauty and sense of mystery, an impression of this has been recreated by focusing on frosted glass and gentle swirling glass textures which evoke the meditative calm and enchanting character of this celestial body. Moonlight embraces the spirit and energy of the much-treasured composition ‘Clair de Lune’ by French composer Claude Debussy, which in turn embodies poetic references of the still moonlight; sad and lovely. While the collection is in many ways a pastiche of different elements of various artistic outlets, it remains true to the Bella Figura signature style, highly finished metal work with hand-made glass elements and luxurious silk all designed and produced in England and Italy. Art Deco influences emerge throughout this collection which further complement the romanticism of the moonlit look, with reworked motifs and ideas from the era, bringing 1920’s style into the 2020’s and beyond.
